We’ve stayed at the hotel during a weekend with a group of friends. Hotel is beautiful from the outside and close to the termal facilities, just in front of a beautiful river. Overall service is good, staff is very nice, though short for the amount of people. For perspective, we had to wait 20 minutes to checkout and there was a large queue of guests waiting to do so as there was only one person in the front desk. Breakfast is ok, but trailing other four-star hotels we’ve been to. More relevant is the fact that rooms seem to be dated, though clean. Major refurbishment is needed, as it sits the hotel is much closer to a three-star than to a four-star hotel… Overall, hotel is good value for money, but make sure you don’t go with high expectations.

Oh I LOVE coming to this hotel! The rooms are comfy, there breakfast is great, and the building, omg the building! I feel like a princess every time I come here! I only came for one night stays, but soon I’ll spend a week here, I love walking by the river, I though more than once in moving here 😅 What a delicious place! One of the times I also had dinner, and it was great!

Quite little town with beautiful parks and views of the mountains, lots of historic buildings and monuments.||We found some excellent restaurants with Michelin recommendations, food was great.||Thinking of moving here if I can find the right house.

Beautiful palace facing rio Vouga, with nice surrounding gardens. The restaurant looks like a nobles bawl room, but the food is not up to its location. It has a small pool near the gardens, but as everyone goes to the hot springs, it's never overcrowded. Great quality/price...

Pro's: pool, breakfast, lunch and dinner, spa facilities at walking distance, price, wonderful building (palace), bar with TV. Gym. Minibar and airco in the room. This was an awesome place to stay at. Con's: high influx of 70+, make reservations way in advance. Friendly staff, beautiful location, recommended!
